Tenebrae (Latin-darkness) is technically the last three days of Holy Week commemorating the suffering and death of Jesus. Thursday and Friday evenings we will worship the Lord with music, readings, the Lord’s Supper, and the gradual darkening of the worship center. Saturday the worship center will remain dark with the exception of one candle (battery powered).
Begin preparing now for a significant spiritual experience through the Tenebrae. Read and meditate on the Psalms 148, 149, and 150. Pray for the choir’s preparation and presentation of the music. Invite friends to join you in this time of worship.
