We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 to learn more about God’s word together.
Wednesday nights are all about seeking God together. We do so through games, worship, studying God’s word and hanging out.
Small groups meet weekly in peoples’ homes from our church body. In small groups we gather with students our age and gender to build strong community. Small groups are where students have the opportunity to be discipled and get to see relationship with God modeled by adults in our community.
“We fail in our duty to study God’s Word not so much because it is difficult to understand, not so much because it is dull and boring, but because it is work.”
R. C. Sproul - Ligonier Ministries
“Christianity without discipleship is always Christianity without Christ.”
We believe that the best possible life is one in service of Jesus Christ and living in community with others who are also seeking Jesus. This is discipleship. Our times together on Sundays and Wednesdays are focused on growing both our relationships with Jesus as well as our relationships to one-another. Corporate musical worship, high-energy games, small group gatherings, and studying God’s word all come together under the banner of discipleship and discipleship is how God wants to form each of us individually into the image of Christ, as well as all of us together into the Body of Christ. “with such affection for you we were happy to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”
We believe God wants do awesome things in and through you and we want to help to know Him and connect you to other students seeking God. If you have questions, feel free to contact Joey Conway Joey@firstbaptistclinton.church or text 660-890-4343.
