God greatly blessed the children of our community this past week through Soul Survivor Camp. I really enjoyed spending the week with a group of boys and Keith Ross. Soul Survivor is a community camp and many people from a number of area churches volunteered. I was greatly blessed by the large number of volunteers from First Baptist. I have often said, “the greatness of a church is not measured by how many people come, but how many people go serving the Lord.” Soul Survivor camp is a great example of First Baptist people “going.”
I am truly grateful for the opportunity God is giving me to serve his great church in Clinton. I am really glad I am pastor of a “going” people.
