Training begins Friday: 6:00 pm, Dinner and an introduction to Disaster Relief. Saturday the schedule is 7:00 am – 2:00 pm. I plan to drive each day however lodging is available. The church provides dormitory style lodging, and will provide the floor space, you provide your air mattress/cot, sleeping bag. Bring you own bedding and shower supplies.

The cost is $40 for first time volunteers. If you have a badge which is expired or expiring this year the recertification fee is $20. If your badge is not expired or expiring this year, cross training in a new area is available, the fee is $5. Retraining is required every five years. Background checks are required for first time volunteers and recertification (included in the fee).
