Celebrate Recovery Purpose:

The purpose of First Baptist Church’s “Celebrate Recovery” is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles.  This experience allows us to “be changed.”  We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another.  In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our lives’ problems.

By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually.  We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors.  This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power – Jesus Christ.

We meet every Tuesday evening at 1531 N. Vansant Rd. at 5:30pm

I’m looking for Bobby. She is a woman I met while incarcerated at the Benton county jail and she would come on Sundays for church for the inmates. I did quite a bit of time there and got to know her and love her and I know she said she went to or knew about celebrate recovery in Clinton. I was wanting to get in touch with her just to let her know how I am and see how she is and I wanted to ask her some of the names of the songs she’d bring or see if she could take pictures of them from the folders she would bring because I was trying to show my mother some of them this morning, but just couldn’t remember many of the names of them, as I’ve been free since March!! :) If someone could give her my contact information so maybe she could get in touch with me or if someone may have her email so I could email her, I’d greatly appreciate it.
    Thank You and God Bless!!
