Rachel’s Challenge in the Clinton public schools is an ActsOne8 Jerusalem partnership event. ActsOne8 Jerusalem has worked with school administrators and Rachel’s Challenge to bring this one day Kindergarten through twelfth grade kindness, compassion, anti bulling event to our community. We want to see the message of Rachel’s Challenge impact the school and homes in our area so the day also includes a community event in the evening.
Now for your part in this ministry. First pray; pray for students and school personnel to be positively influenced by the golden rule message of Rachel’s Challenge. Second, attend the community meeting. Third, talk with your children and grandchildren about the love of Jesus that transforms live and is the source of kindness and compassion in relationships.
The church and the school working together to influence positively our community is a really good thing. You are the church. You need to fill up the Performing Arts Center, Thursday night September 6. Opportunities like this do not often come our way (first time in 12 years), so it is imperative that we seize this moment.
I’ll see you at Rachel’s Challenge.
